ROBIN DONATED TO GUARDIAN ANGELS HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR BALL

This little Robin is one of the raffle prizes donated to Guardian Angels Hollywood Glamour Ball, draw to take place on the evening of the ball on Saturday 29th October at the Parador Hotel, Javea.

Guardian Angels is a charity set up to help single parents like myself and I'm delighted to be able to donate this picture to this very worthy cause.

I painted this picture with different paints to see how they would react together. I'm rather pleased with the result although you need to zoom in the see the texture and patterns made by the mixed paints.

Seagulls always remind me of home and their distinctive cry reminds me of wonderful childhood holidays spent with my Grandmother in Deal, Kent. They're naughty birds who'll steal your chips and poop on you at the seaside, but they always make me smile.

These roses were growing near a local bar popular particularly in the summer for al fresco dining. I left them there for all to enjoy and painted this from a photograph so I can enjoy the beautiful flowers all year round.
