POPPIES

Here at Laura Aldridge Art in Benidoleig on the Costa Blanca we have blue skies and pretty spring flowers everywhere so I am posting this pictures I've painted in acrylic paints on canvass of three poppies.

Poppies are one of my favourite flowers and we are blessed with a nice variety of types of poppy here in the fields and hedgerows. I am quite drawn to the bright deep red ones, the orangey ones and the pretty purples.
