Here at Laura Aldridge Art in Benidoleig on the Costa Blanca, I am always experimenting and trying new things. I like to play with colour and texture.

Abstract X is a mixed media acrylic painting on canvas. It is constructed from many many overlapping layers. 

It represents to me reaching a crossroads in life and knowing which way to go, perhaps after some time of wondering and wandering.

It also reminds me strangely of the Union Jack
