Benidoleig on the Costa Blanca of Spain is a very green place with acres of orange groves in the valley bordered by mountains and ending at the beautiful blue sea at the Denia coast. 

Blue jug is one of a series of paintings inspired by Van Gogh's Sunflowers of 1888. This one has bronze butterflies to represent transformation with the sunflowers of happiness. The blue is the colour of the sky over our valley and the green comes from the orange groves, bliss.
